REBORN is a partnership project funded under the Interreg Europe program which aims to support European competitiveness and accelerate the economic growth of regions by improving policy instruments relating to business re-entry and the creation of a positive image for SMEs that want to re-enter the market and continue after a business failure. economic activity. The detailed objectives of the project include, among others minimizing the loss of entrepreneurial potential, strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs in financial difficulties and stepping up efforts to avoid stigmatization of entrepreneurs that are bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy.

Project activities focus on such financial instruments and tools, the aim of which is or will be to minimize the loss of entrepreneurial potential, strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs in financial difficulties and intensify activities in order to avoid stigmatization of entrepreneurs that are bankrupt or on the verge of bankruptcy. Therefore, activities will be undertaken in 3 thematic axes:

• financial solutions in the field of second chance policy,
• building a positive image of companies re-starting their business,
• building the potential of entrepreneurs (before bankruptcy by increasing their awareness in this regard and by increasing skills in managing a company in difficult conditions, and after a business failure by supporting the process of their return to the labor market).

The implementation of the REBORN project will contribute to the implementation of the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Lubelskie Voivodeship 2020, Priority 1: Increasing the capacity of business entities to create and absorb knowledge and implement innovations, especially in regional areas of smart specialization.
