Lublin is the largest and the most dynamically developing academic center on the eastern side of the Vistula River.

 

There are 16 universities in the region, educating over 67,000 students. It is worth emphasizing that universities in our region have a very high internationalization rate (over 11 percent). Over 6,500 foreign students from 106 countries study in Lublin. Universities also focus on teaching practical skills and cooperation with business.

Apart from the academic level, the region attaches great importance to vocational education. There are over 100 vocational and technical schools in the region, educating over seven thousand students. Thanks to the European Funds, vocational schools can count on co-financing new workshops for students, additional hours of classes or the possibility of organizing internships / apprenticeships for students at selected employers. In several schools, there are industry classes tailored to staff expectations and created in cooperation with enterprises.

Students willingly choose Lublin because of the comfort of life and the high level of education. Universities, apart from a rich educational offer, annually extended with new faculties, expand and modernize their infrastructure and research facilities, support the scientific and non-scientific activity of students and undertake activities aimed at graduates.
