Lublin is the largest and the most dynamically developing academic center on the eastern side of the Vistula River.

Apart from the academic level, the region attaches great importance to vocational education. There are over 100 vocational and technical schools in the region, educating over seven thousand students. Thanks to the European Funds, vocational schools can count on co-financing new workshops for students, additional hours of classes or the possibility of organizing internships / apprenticeships for students at selected employers. In several schools, there are industry classes tailored to staff expectations and created in cooperation with enterprises.

Universities, apart from a rich educational offer, annually extended with new faculties, expand and modernize their infrastructure and research facilities, support the scientific and non-scientific activity of students and undertake activities aimed at graduates.
