In 2021, the average gross monthly salary in the enterprise sector in the voivodship reached PLN 5,014.44 and was higher by 9.4% compared to 2020 and by 73.4% in 2010.

In the country, the average gross salary amounted to PLN 5,889.84 and was also higher by 8.8% compared to 2020 and by 71.5% by 2010.

In Lublin, the average monthly gross salary in the enterprise sector amounted to PLN 5401.59. Compared to 2020, the increase in wages and salaries was recorded in all sections of the enterprise sector in the voivodship, with the highest recorded in accommodation and catering (by 15.0%), in transport and storage (by 11.5%) and in trade; repair of motor vehicles (by 10.8%).

In 2021, the highest average monthly gross wages and salaries in the Lubelskie Voivodeship were recorded in the information and communication section; they exceeded by 65.1% the average wage in the enterprise sector in the voivodship. The lowest salaries were found, among others in sections: accommodation and catering as well as administration and support activities (respectively by 29.4% and 19.6% lower than the average monthly salary in the enterprise sector in the voivodship).

In 2021, 350.9 million hours were worked in the enterprise sector units in the voivodship, i.e. more by 0.1% than in the previous year. Most hours were worked in the sections: manufacturing - 132.1 million (37.6% of the total) and trade; repair of motor vehicles - 76.2 million (21.7%), the lowest in accommodation and catering - 4.5 million (1.3%) and in information and communication - 5.1 million (1.5%). The average time worked per month by 1 employee in the enterprise sector in 2021 was 145 hours. The average hourly wage in this period was PLN 34.47. Compared to 2020, an increase in remuneration per hour worked by 8.9% was observed. The highest salary per hour worked was received by employees in the information and communication section - PLN 55.99, and the lowest in accommodation and catering - PLN 22.27.
