Stability of employment in the Lubelskie voivodeship is beneficial for a foreign investor, understood as a low turnover of workers for a single position. During interviews entrepreneurs emphasized that the region compares favourably against other Polish regions in this respect, particularly in comparison to the situation in major cities where workers are much more likely to change their place of work.

Average employment in the enterprise sector in the region of Lubelskie in 2018 was at 194.8 thousand people, while the share of the average employment in the enterprise sector in the region in relation to the size of the country is 3.1%.

In the fourth quarter of 2018 in Lubelskie Voivodeship in the private sector 625 thousand were employed people (72.1% of all employed), while in the public sector 243 thousand people. Among the total working population - because of employment status - the majority were workers employed on the basis of employment in the public or in private company (71.3% of the total employed). A group of employers and the self-employed numbered reached 217 thousand people.
